Sarkodie and singer Prince Bright have paired up on new music–again.

Titled “Gimme Way” and produced by Pee GH, the song, men behind 2019’s “Oofeetsɔ” hope, will be a worthy successor to the anthem. As to whether that will happen will be determined by coming months, though on first listen, it sounds unlikely.

Thematically, “Gimme Way” is similar to its predecessor as it touts the men’s prowess and resilience. Production-wise, however, it doesn’t ring as emphatic as was experienced on “Oofeetsɔ”. Still, where the song falls short, it is made for by the artists’ continual star power.

It is doubtful that “Gimme Way” precedes a new Sarkodie collection. For observers of his career, however, it appears to be the SarkCess man’s first attempt to score a third-quarter hit which, in these parts, is a prerequisite for December bookings.

Sarkodie’s last album is Black Love. Other recent singles from him are “CEO Flow” and the M.anifest-assisted “Brown Paper Bag.”
