Rapper Joint 77, formerly with Shatta Wale’s SM Militants, was on Andy Dosty’s Daybreak Hitz radio show minutes ago to promote “4:30,” his new record.
What was meant to be a civil dialogue took a turn for the worse, Joint 77 and Shatta Wale (who joined the show via telephone) ending up in an extensive argument pertaining to their recent fallout.
The exchange, which involved the use of unsavoury language and even the invocation of curses, was both a wickedly humorous episode, and a deeply troubling one, listeners serving as aural witnesses to a degeneration of the bond between the two musicians, which they had sworn would be “4 Life” (they first partnered in 2003).
Since exiting Shatta Wale’s camp, Joint 77 has signed with Cash Records. What does his former mentor make of “4:30”? Absolute rubbish.
