Media Personality, Caroline Sampson has disclosed how she landed her new radio job with Asaase Radio.

Early this week, enewsgh.com reported she had joined the station, and will host the station’s late-morning to early afternoon show ‘Ten-to-One’ starting June 15.

Her session will run weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Sampson shared specific details on her Youtube channel about being contacted, meetings, and a lot more.

Weeks prior, she had lost her job as the host of ‘Shouts on Y’ at the Global Media Alliance-owned Y 107.9 FM after years of service.

The station has lined up a number of other talents including Elvis Crystal and Kwaku Sakyi Addo.

Asaase Radio is run by the same owners of the Daily Statesman newspaper, which has Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko as the frontman.

The station will operate under the tagline “The Voice of Our land,” and will broadcast in English on 99.5 FM.

The station becomes the latest addition to Accra’s growing radio ecosystem.

Ghana’s capital currently has some 54 radio stations spread across commercial, community, campus and foreign stations (RFI, VOA and BBC). Of the number, Radio Gold (90.5) and Montie (100.1) are off air for regulatory reasons.
