Veteran Journalist, Kwaku Sakyi Addo is the lastest addition to Asaase Radio.

Enewsgh.com understands Sakyi-Addo will host a weekly show named ‘Sunday Night.’

The show will feature Ghanaian, African and global newsmakers in conversation with the respected broadcaster on a widerange of subjects including business, arts, sports, science and Politics.

The new station will go live in Accra on June 14.

It is operating on the 99.5 frequency and has been running a test transmission in the last few weeks.

Enewsgh.com can confirm that it is run by the same owners of the Daily Statesman newspaper, which has Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko as the frontman.

The station will operate under the tagline “The Voice of Our land”.

Asaase Radio becomes the latest addition to Accra’s growing radio ecosystem.

Ghana’s capital currently has some 54 radio stations spread across commercial, community, campus and foreign stations (RFI, VOA and BBC). Of the number, Radio Gold (90.5) and Montie (100.1) are off air for regulatory reasons.
