Last year, following the “Year of Return” declaration by Ghana’s president, Nana Akufo Addo, Accra welcomed unprecedented tourism numbers, especially from the African diaspora.

Keeping with that spirit, the singer-songwriter, who hails from a family of renowned musicians, issues “Sanbra,” a searing spiel which he describes as a call to “our brothers and sisters in the diaspora and all Ghanaians to come home, and “connect with your roots in Africa.”

Accompanying visuals to the song depict the colour and rich history that the country is steeped in and beloved the world over for. The clip is Directed by Miah, and published under Akwaboah Music.

Formerly of SarkCess Music, the love crooner and award-winning act has published one album: Matters of the Heart (2018). He also headlines his annual Valentine’s Day Concert called Shades of Love.
