Here are Esianyo Kumodzi-directed visuals for “Dzo,” one of two lead singles off rapper Ko-Jo Cue’s forthcoming LP, For my Brothers.

Featuring the eccentric Worlasi on hook duty, the joint “explores the distraction that can arise from being unhealthily love strung,” while ultimately theorising that at times, “relationships have to go so everyone can thrive.”

“Dzo” was produced by iPappi and published under BBNZ Live, which is also home to Pen & Paper colleague, Shaker.

Due tomorrow, November 1, For My Brothers arrives as his eighth collection of works, following a deluge of mixtapes since 2010, as well as “Pen & Paper,” a collaborative piece with Shaker.

For My Brothers is the rapper’s debut solo album.

Cue ( born Linford Kennedy Amankwaa) disclosed the project as an ode for persons who inspired the CD. Consists of fifteen songs, it features guest appearances from Adomaa, A.I, Nigeria’s Show Dem Camp, Worlasi, and J. Derobie. Kris D, Fortune Dane, Shaker, Juls, and The Gentleman are among producers on the record.
