Per a Twitter exchange between rappers Sarkodie and UK’s Stormzy, they should collaborate on music in coming days.
“My brother let’s give the people some music, it’s overdue,” tweeted Stormzy (who is still celebrating a historic 2019 Glastonbury date) June 30.
Sarkodie welcomed the request swiftly, pointing out that their meeting could happen in as soon as a week’s time, when he flies to the UK. “It’s about time… I’m out there in a week … let’s hit the lab,” he tweeted in response.
Instantly, the Sarkodie- Stormzy collaboration becomes the most anticipated by a Ghanaian and UK-based act.
Sarkodie is currently promoting ALPHA, the six-track mixtape that heralds his 2019 album. Stormzy’s recent submissions include Vossi Bop and Crown.
