he 2019 Africa Women’s Sports Summit is currently ongonig at the Swiss Spirit Alisa Hotel in Accra, featuring leading sports broadcasters from across the continent: SuperSport and Premier League TV’s Carol Tsabalala, internationl broadcaster Juliet Bawuah, Uganda’s Usher Komugisha, GH One TV’s Nana Aba Anamoah, author and business leader, Lucy Quist, as well as seasoned Ghanaian lawyer and Sports Journalist, Eva Okyere.

The inaugural edition, the conference is held under the theme: “Take Your Place”, highlighting conversations about empowering young female sport Journalists and upcoming talents to lead and impact their communities, as well as taking stock of the gains made so far by African women in sports, and offer a clear path to fill the gaps.

Hosted by International Sports Journalist Juliet Bawuah, has garnered an overwhelming global endorsement from leading figures, including Fifa secretary general Fatma Samoura.
