Rapper Trigmatic has debunked rumours that he left YFM at a time when he had built a very solid fan base on radio.

Speaking on Rhythm A-Z on Accra-based Joy 99.7 FM, the “My Life ” hitmaker told the host “I left my radio show in good hands… I hinted that I will leave and eventually I left.”

The former Mid Morning Radio Show (MMRS) host on the Accra-based urban station left to fully concentrate on music, he explained at the time.

In a post on microblogging site on February 28, 2019, the once VGMA Record of the Year winner posted ” adio’s been a huge part of my life. I’m blessed to have been able to share it with you. Today, I’m bowing out of radio to fully embrace my passion for music. Thanks for all the support both on & off the air; from you the listeners to my fellow artists, DJs, my copresenters & employers. You’ve given me memories I’ll forever be grateful for. Let’s make this next chapter the greatest one yet. God Bless!”
