The remix of emPAWA Africa beneficiary, J. Derobie’s groundbreaking debut, “Poverty”, arrives tomorrow, per the artist.

Assisted by top Jamaican singer, Papcaan, the record arrives off the heels of Derobie’s sophomore offering, “Irie” (produced by Juls and released days ago.

Visuals of the original version of “Poverty”, since its release three months ago, has been watched over a million times, and catapulted the Nungua-based singer to international acclaim.

Derobie, 24, was born Derrick Obuobi Jnr. in northern Ghana. Though significantly new in the industry, Derobie has already been anointed by big names  like Popcaan, and Shatta Wale.
