Born Michael Manu Gyabaa and hailing from Womnafour, Aseda practices Afropop, Hiplife, and Hip-hop. His interest in making music started in basic school, through secondary school (where he made his first demos).

Aside music, Michael also studies at the University of Development Studies, Wa.
