A concert to commemorate a year of singer Ebony’s passing has been announced for March 29.

A partnership among Bony to the World Records, Rufftown Records, and Kri8 Concepts, the gig comes off at the West Hills Mall, which witnessed Ebony’s maiden headline concert in December 2017.

While a roster of artists has yet to be released by organizers, the memorial concert is expected to see a long list of A list acts.

Since her passing, the sultry chanteuse (born Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng) has remained present in the industry, via posthumous awards (including VGMA Artist of the Year 2018), prolonged scandals between her father and former label boss, and constant play on radio.

Ebony met her untimely death on Thursday February 8, when the jeep she was traveling in, slammed into an oncoming VIP bus. The accident, which happened on the Kumasi – Sunyani road, also led to the death of a military officer identified as Francis Atsu Vondee and personal assistant Frankie Kuri, who were also onboard the Jeep.

She is best known for the singles Poison, Hustle, Da Ur Fada, and Maame Hw3. Her debut and only album alive, BONYFIED, was released in December 2017.
