Ghana to witness maiden hospitality awards

90 Degrees, an event management company, has outdoored the 2019 Hospitality Awards.

The first of its kind, the scheme was launched on March 16, at the Hoteliers Gala and Dinner Night, held at Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.

Hosted by radio and television presenter Giovani Caleb, the event was attended by industry stakeholders, including General managers, food and beverage managers, human relation officers among others.

Speaking at the event, Roman Krabel, General Manager of Accra City Hotel, pointed the executives towards the direction of togetherness to build the hospitality industry in Ghana to further boost the country’s tourism sector.

The Chief Operations Officer of the 90 Degrees event company, Linda Mensah Vidro, declared the event duly launched, revealing the various categories for the year under review, after which she explained the uniqueness of the award which is slated for July.

She further indicated that the scheme aims at rewarding the people who work behind the scenes to build a strong image for the hotels; personnel who make the hotels work.

On building a conducive atmosphere to attract investments in from all corners, the Chief Executive Officer of 90 Degrees Event Management, Eugene Vidro reiterated the need to respect of time and dedication to work.
