Lamisi, born Regina Lamisi Awiniman Anabilla Akukainlate, debuted “Brighter Side,” her maiden album at Alliance Francaise Accra on Saturday, February 23.

The night was blessed with series of fun packed surprises and colourful emotions; President of GHAMRO Rex Omar didn’t just grace the venue to add contrast, he was actually the first to purchase a hard copy of Brighter Side album for Gh¢ 1000, followed by other specials guests and fans. Celebrated high life gem Ben Brako and Mr Kiki Banson owner of Patch Bay Band were there. International publicist, A & R, author and brand geek Elorm Beenie registered his presence. Renowned poet Nana Asaase delivered a mind-blowing spoken words craft about Lamisi.
Getting to the end of the event Lamisi pulled out legendary Atongo known for his mega-hit song “In Heaven There’s No Beer” on stage to perform. Drawing down the curtains, Highgrade forwarder Samini was there as a guest but ended up mounting the stage to shower his blessings on her by freestyling her name on one of his major hit songs “Where My Baby Dey” which the both performed together. Patch Bay Band was on point like a laser, whiles the technical side production; stage set up, lighting and sound were solid as a rock.
