Organisers of the annual 3Music Awards are announcing nominees for the 2019 edition.
So far, in the categories of Viral Song of the Year, Fan Army of the Year, Digital Act of the Year, Afrobeats Song of the Year, and Gospel Song of the Year, Wendy Shay, Patapaa, Evangelist IK Aning, Mr. Eazi, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Sister Deborah, M.anifest, and MEDiKAL have all secured their places as contestants.
The latest announcement, for Collaboration of the Year, sees R2Bees’s “Boys Kasa,” Guilty Beatz’s “Akwaaba,” King Promise’s “CCTV,” and Ponobiom’s “Obiaa Wo Ne Master,” and Sarkodie “Can’t Let You Go” are all in the running for the laurel.
Other contenders for the award include Patience Nyarko’s “Obi Nyane Me,” “Grind Day,” by Kwesi Arthur, “Killing Me Softly” by Adina, “Me Ne Woa,” by M.anifest and King Promise, and “Kwani Kwani” by Kuami Eugene.
This year’s award ceremony is slated for March 30 at the Fantasy Dome, and performers on the night have yet to be announced.
