Organisers of the annual 3Music Awards have begun publishing names of acts who have been nominated for the 2019 edition.

The nominations were announced at the official launch yesterday, January 31 by the board consisting James Korsah Brown, Arnold Asamoah Badu, Mz Gee, Andy Dosty, Nii Atakorah, Kelly Nii Mensah, Obed Boafo among other industry connoisseurs.

This year’s award ceremony is slated for March 30 at the Fantasy Dome, and performers on the night have yet to be announced.

Below is the first batch of nominees for the categories of Viral Song of the Year, Fan Army of the Year, Digital Act of the Year, Afrobeats Song of the Year, and Gospel Song of the Year. Wendy Shay, Patapaa, Evangelist IK Aning, Mr. Eazi, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Sister Deborah, M.anifest, and  MEDiKAL have all secured nominations.
