On “Mr BadMan,” KiDi swerves everyone, sidestepping his flagship love theme, while still retaining his identity of superlative class.
Featuring Kwesi Arthur, the record, which is the Lynx artist’s debut 2019 offering, also sees producer MOG offload truly impressive string phrases. This is the second time KiDi and Kwesi Arthur are partnering on music–the first being on the latter’s “Don’t Keep Me Waiting,” months ago.
Another thing worth noting about the record is the peculiar recycling of highlife refrains that the label has come to be known for. This time, veteran King David serving as muse.
A staple on contemporary GH radio, KiDi is due to release ‘Sugar,’ his debut album this year. A joint- EP with label-mate Kuami Eugene is also due for release in 2019.
