Rapper Yaa Pono, perhaps best known for “Obiaa Wo Ne Master” (ft. Stonebwoy) has issued a new offering for 2019.

“Control,” as the record is christened, features English rapper Dun D, and is produced by by C-Figz.

Published by Uptown Energy, the independent imprint that Pono leads, the joint is accompanied by a B Dot-directed clip.

Author of multiple hits and the Faster than Gods album (2017), Yaa Pono is widely regarded “king of the underground”, and is deemed among the most versatile acts from these parts, expertly blending a range of elements: hiphop, highlife, hip hop, dancehall and Afrobeats. He’s reportedly finishing up a new album.
