Giovani Caleb, the famed emcee and broadcaster with Bola Ray’s EIB Network, has announced his exit from the outfit.
Considered widely as a huge blow to the company, the announcement of Caleb’s departure comes months after another high-profile farewell–that of news anchor, Kweku Obeng Adjei.
On Facebook Tuesday January 22, Caleb, in a sobering post, admitted to what a difficult decision this was, but does not divulge what specific reason is leading to his exodus from the establishment, other than it representing a moment in life when “God’s plans supersedes our own.”
He also expressed gratitude to his now former colleagues and boss, wishing them “all the best for the future.”
Versatile and affable, it was Caleb Bola Ray anointed in August 2016, to take over Starr Drive, the drive-belt programme the EIB boss used to host at Starr FM. Giovani was also co-host of DUVET, airing on GH One TV, and catering to love and relationships.
A multiple-award-winning broadcaster, Giovani Caleb is deemed as a pioneering force among the new generation of broadcasters, and has over the years, built a reputation as a powerful voice in the Ghanaian media space, having taken on such duties as radio host, programmes manager both at Y FM and Live FM, MC of MTN Hitmaker, brand ambassador for Malta Guinness among other things.
