Here is another single off Afrobeats singer, Fuse ODG’s forthcoming New Africa Nation album. Featuring LYNX singers Kuami Eugene and KiDi, the record celebrates the “New African Girl.”

Accompanying visuals shot on location in Akosombo were directed by David Nicol-sey. In line with Fuse’s agenda of projecting the continent in a different light than is usually portrayed by western media, the video overflows with rich Ghanaian  sights and culture. It also  features exclusively, melanin models –an enterprise by the musician born Nana Richard Abiona to make African women both proud and comfortable about their complexion.

The clip also sees the lavish display of rich Ghanaian textiles, enhancing the overall vibrancy of the clip.

Published under Fuse’s Off Da Ground music label, the song comes off the heels of “Bra Fie,” his well-received collaboration with global reggae star, Damian Marley.

In January next year, Fuse ODG who is now a Grammy honoree for his contribution on Ed Sheeran’s “Divide” (Asylum/ Atlantic, 2017) will stage his first annual TINA Festival. “In re-uniting the Global African Diaspora, the Tina Festival will be part of a wider series of events over three days held at Ghana’s most iconic venues,” says Fuse’s team about the initiative. Consisting conferences, a tour of Akosombo, and a January 4 concert starring Sarkodie, Joey B, as well as UK-based acts, Stefflon Don and Lethal Bizzle, the festival is held under the theme “Kente Party.”

Fuse ODG rose to global acclaim for his 2013 hits “Antenna” and “Azonto”, the TINA frontman has constantly sought to correct various stereotypes about Ghana, and by extension, Africa. His debut album TINA ( This Is New Africa) was released in November 2014 and peaked at number 25 on the UK Albums Chart.

Fuse has also been associated with such global music icons including Damian Marley, Wyclef Jean, Elephant Man, Sarkodie, Sean Paul, Shatta Wale, Ed Sheeran, and Major Lazer.
