Watch long awaited BABS-directed visuals for “Bibii Ba.”

Like he did two years ago with “Trumpet,” Sarkodie, Ghana’s foremost rapper today curates a powerful hip-hop joint by lining up ten of the most promising punchline practitioners: LJ, Tulenkey, Frequency, K. Mole, ToyBoi, Yeyo, Amerado, 2Fyngers, OBkay, and CJ.

“Bibii Ba,” the Fortune Dane-produced song is themed on the indispensable value of money in life: “Money be the root of evil/ But poverty dey kill some people/ Brother for dey make that money/ Whether ebi just or illegal,” listen a portion of the chorus, rendered by the SarkCess frontman himself.

Before the song’s release, the #BiBiiBaChallenge had been announced, to allow for various artists to attempt their own renditions of the instrumental. The challenge received hundreds of entries, including one by a Chinese act.

It is widely rumored that “Bibii Ba” will be performed live for the first time at the rapper’s annual end-of-year concert, “Rapperholic,” slated for Christmas day.
