Rapper  Criss Waddle, head huncho of AMG Bizness, and popular for such songs as “Bie Gya” and “Bokor De3” has issued a list of his top 5 Ghanaian rappers; consisting Sarkodie, Kwesi Arthur, Paedae (Omar Sterling) among others.

He divulged this during an interview on Accra-based Hitz FM on the morning of Wednesday, November 15.

The Tema-based rapper cited MEDiKAL, a hip-hop act signed to his imprint, as his topmost rapper.

On his top 5 rappers currently, Waddle submitted a list heavily dominated by Tema-based rappers: “my best rapper currently will be Medikal, Sarkodie, Paedae, Kwesi Arthur, Darko Vibes and then Sarkodie again,” he said.

Perhaps this is unsurprising. Over the past decade or so, Tema has proven itself as a hub for hip-hop in Ghana, producing some of the most formidable names in the genre across the country, and by extension, the continent.

Criss Waddle is scheduled to premiere a new song and documentary at the Silver Bird Cinemas at the Accra Mall later this month.
