Michelle Diamond (Shatta Michy), fellow singer and longtime partner of Shatta Wale, is preparing feverishly for the highly-anticipated concert to outdoor the SM head honcho’s latest album, The Reign.
Slated for the Fantasy Dome, Saturday October 13, the show is tipped to be among the most patronised event this year, owing to the Kakai man’s magnificent catalogue, effervescent stagecraft, overall star power, as well as the lineup of supporting acts (known and rumoured alike).
Exciting footage has popped up of Michy rehearsing dance steps ahead of the concert, against the backdrop of her recent single, “Spend Di Money.” The video has, since its release some 14 hours ago, racked up over 30, 000 views on Instagram alone, pegging it among trending topics on Ghanaian social media.

The Reign album, consisting a single feature (Nigeria’s Olamide), will be released via a grand concert on October 13 at the Fantasy Dome, Trade Fair Center, Accra. It follows the Cloud 9 EP (October 2017), and After the Storm Album (May 2016).
Songs on the 17-track project include “Don’t Baby my Baby”, “Rosalinda”, “Amount”, and the widespread “Gringo.” Producer MOG, Showerz Ebiem, Damage Music, and Shatta Wale himself (who produces under the alias “Da Maker”) programmed beats for the project.
