Rapper Sarkodie, who is the most discussed person in Ghana currently due to the release of “Advice” —his blistering hiphop freestyle jibing colleague, Shatta Wale — will be joined by fellow African powerhouses for the climax of GLO’s 5-night series of comedy and mega concerts— the Glo Mega Music and Lafftafest.

Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Patapaa, Wizkid, Davido, Yemi Alade and Flavour constitute the lineup for the clamax of the series, with funny men, Foster Romanus,Basketmouth and Gordons serving stand-up comedy.
Explaining the rationale behind the marathon, Mr Uche Ojo, Head of Business for Glo, indicates that the mega shows were designed by the telecoms giant to “appreciate our teeming supporters in Ghana. We are also using the events to welcome new subscribers to join the network and experience the best of services, especially data, from Glo, the grandmasters of Data in Ghana”.
Judging by the successes of the previous shows in the series, nothing short of fireworks will be recorded at the event.
