A full house at the Fantasy Dome in Accra witnessed the last in a series of gargantuan concerts and comedy shows by telecoms outfit, GLO.
Dubbed the GLO Mega Shows, the row of events, which commenced which commenced August 12, consisted five well-patronised gigs, and catered to lovers of both music and comedy. The programme paraded the most sought-after African entertainers: Basketmouth, DKB, Gordons, Jacinta, Bovi, Foster Romanus, Seyi Law, and Salvadore, Patapaa, Kuami Eugene, Diamond Platnumz, Yemi Alade, Tekno, Flavour, Sarkodie, Wizkid and DMW frontman, Davido.
Last Saturday (October 20) the finale saw the return of WizKid, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Kuami Eugene, Yemi Alade, Davido, Flavor, Patapaa among others.
A key highlight on the night was the appearance of Nima rapper and viral sensation, Supa (Ghana 2Pac) on Sarkodie’s set.
According to Mr Uche Ojo, Head of Business for Glo, indicates that the mega shows were designed by the telecoms giant to “appreciate our teeming supporters in Ghana. We are also using the events to welcome new subscribers to join the network and experience the best of services, especially data, from Glo, the grandmasters of Data in Ghana”.
