Here’s new material from firebrand dancehall singer Shatta Wale (Charles Nii Armah Mensah) ahead of his forthcoming album, The Reign.

Christened  My Level, the highlife record is produced by fast-rising sound man, PAQ (Stanley Dartey), whose debut offering, The Afrobeat Tape, peaked at No. 2 on the iTunes World Album Chart.

Shatta Wale’s new album, consisting a single feature (Nigeria’s Olamide), will be released via a  grand concert on October 13 at the Fantasy Dome, Trade Fair Center, Accra. It follows the Cloud 9  EP (October 2017), and  After the Storm Album (May 2016).

When it is finally published, it will be  the Kakai man’s first body of work under Nana Appiah Mensah’s ZYLOFON Music. Other singles off the album include Gringo, and Amount .

Also captain of his SM4LYF imprint, which houses protégés Captan, Addi Self, and Joint 77, Shatta Wale is recipient of multiple VGMAs, a  Chicago Music Awards (CMA) laurel, an International Reggae & World Music Awards (IRAWMA) honour, a Key to the City of Worcester etc.
