This month, urban music video channel, FIESTA, highlights and honours Ghanaian Afro pop singer-songwriter, Noella Wiyaala —for her outstanding contribution to the Ghanaian music arts.

This announcement follows a decision by the outfit to prioritise local Ghanaian music on the channel.

Wiyaala, since being discovered by BBC’s Rita Ray  in 2014, has gone on to become one of Ghana’s leading international touring artistes, rendering vivacious performances at top events and festivals across the globe.

September will see the Jay Foley—led station highlight her career beginnings, projects, as well as her overall impact on Ghanaian music and culture as a whole.
