Zimbabwe’s premier media personality, Samantha Musa popularly known as MisRed is in Ghana over the 9th of June, 2018 weekend.

In what is part of her new vision with KOSHA Management, MisRed is going to be extending her reach into various African markets including popular destinations such as Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa.

Travelling with manager Tannia Ngwena, MisRed will be covering the Ghana Meets Naija Concert. Tagged as The Battle for West Africa’s finest, ‘Ghana meets Naija’ is also a celebration of dominance by West Africa in the Afropop music scene. On the night, international superstar artists such as; Wizkid and, Mayorkun from Nigeria, and Stonebwoy from Ghana will be performing.

MisRed will be partnering with WatsUp TV, an entertainment company that produces WatsUp TV and organises the annual WatsUp TV Africa Music Video Awards. She will be appearing as their guest presenter over the weekend festivities, anchoring WatsUp TV’s coverage of Ghana Meets Naija Concert and supporting shows. She will be hosting the red carpet and will be taking backstage interviews for both her Ghana collaborators and, her resident station in Zimbabwe ZiFM Stereo.

In the spirit of Pan Africanism, Abd Traore founder of WhatsUp TV is excited to be hosting Zimbabwe’s favourite television and radio personality on his platform. He said,”I am passionate about learning and sharing ideas with other African creative entrepreneurs, so this is a great cultural exchange opportunity for her. We are excited to introduce her to how we do entertainment in Ghana.”

MisRed shared that, “New markets excite me, I feel like it’s important that we start to think outside of our locality as Zimbabweans because Africa is a big continent. If we’re to become one we need to start tapping into each other’s markets.

“It’s exciting times for me being someone from a small country like Zimbabwe to showcase how loud and proud we are as a nation of very colourful people. So I hope to possibly just sprinkle a little bit of Zimbabwean sparkle at Ghana Meets Naija Concert,” said MisRed.

She will also be co-hosting THE DRYVE with Joel Orleans on YFM. “Zim’s finest is coming to Accra, to YFM. I’m excited, and can’t wait to have her co-host on my show. She might not know it but she’s already got some fans out here”, said Joel Orleans.
