A Togbe Gavua -directed movie, slated for release soon, is already widely deemed a groundbreaking project.

Written by Joe Wackle, “Lucky” stars a rich array of Ghanaian performers including Fred Amugi, singer Efya, Akofa Adjeani, Kabuki Akiwumi, Solomon Fixon- Owoo, and Kumi Obuobisa, and explores escapades of  Lucky Barima Mensah, and his friend, Wadaada, who are bent on giving Nuti Fafa (the former’s crush) a date she will never forget.

Abstrakte, the production house which is overseeing this project, is a highly respected brand in Ghana mainly due to their exploits with the 2016 short film, “Sophie”, and music videos for popular acts as Worlasi, Pappy Kojo, Edem among others.
