ZYLOFON Media’s attempt to consolidate their stature as true creative media giants, sees a phenomenal boost with the addition of popular dancehall singer, Shatta Wale, unto their roster yesterday, January 31.
Frontman of the Shatta Movement, the singer, known to his mother as Charles Nii Armah Mensah, joins other A-list Ghanaian performers at the label as Stonebwoy, Becca, Joyce Blessing, Kumi Guitar, and Obibini.
A three-year deal, it is reportedly worth deal worth $1.5 million, and sees the singer also receive a Rolls Royce, as well as a new house.
The unveiling was done at ZYLOFON’s East Legon premises, in the presence of the top hierarchy of the outfit, reps from Shasta’s camp, media personnel, and teeming supporters.
