The 6th annual poll by Reggaeville , the world’s biggest gathering of reggae lovers and fans on the internet, has seen Stonebwoy’s Epistles of Mama (EOM) being ranked among top 5 reggae albums of 2017.

Stonebwoy’s project came 2nd to Chronology, the Grammy-nominated album by Chronixx. Other works that complete the ranking include Stony Hill by Damian Jr Gong Marley, Umdo12 by Cidade Verde Sounds, and Unconquerebel by Hempress Sativa.

Epistles of Mama, jointly published by ZYLOFON Music and the artist’s own BMG imprint, consists 24 songs in all, and features a flavoursome array of local and international heavyweights as Sean Paul, Chronixx, Sarkodie, Pressure, I Octane, Efya, Vanessa Bling, Joey B, Kabaka Pyramid all feature on the double CD project, which is divided equally into Afrobeats, and Reggae/Dancehal equally.

Released December 2017, Epistles of Mama follows other well-received projects as Grade 1, Necessary Evil, and Livingstone.

Born Livingstone Etsey Satekla, Stonebwoy has been named alongside global reggae stars as Gentleman, Ziggy Marley, Inner Circle, Tarrus Riley, Chris Martin, Jahmiel, Charly Black among others for next year’s edition of the Summer Jam  festival slated for July 6th – July 8th.

He also featured on  Morgan Heritage’s “Avrakadabra” (which has been nominated for  ‘Best Reggae Album’ in the 2018 Grammy Awards, alongside ‘Chronology’ by Chronixx, ‘Lost In Paradise’ by Common Kings, ‘Wash House Ting’ by J Boog, and ‘Stony Hill’ by Damian Marley).
