Ghanaian act King Ayisoba, has revealed that he is more popular than other big acts as Shatta Wale and Sarkodie.
Declaring this on Happy FM’s Showbiz Xtra, the “Kologo King” stressed that his style of music instantly draws huge crowds, while still carrying deep messages which foster discipline.
According to the ‘I Want to See You My Father’ singer, he hardly feels threatened by Shatta Wale and Sarkodie at all.
“Let the people of Ghana will put both Shatta Wale and me on the streets of Accra and let’s see who amongst us will be hailed more. You will then notice the amount of praise I will garner ,” he said.
Born in Bolgatanga, King Ayisoba has always been passionate about the ills of society. His I Want To See You, My Father ( which earned him Song of the Year and Traditional Song of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards in 2013) mocks irresponsible men. Another song: Modern Ghanaians cautions against ignoring one’s culture.
