Here’s the video for “KUDI” rapper AYAT’s latest hiphop piece featuring Singitdamnit’s M.anifest.

Produced by Magnom, the record discusses fearlessly, unpalatable dimensions that have emerged in Ghana’s music industry over time –especially the place of money, which is the English translation of the Hausa title. The video is inspired by popular video game Grand Theft Auto.

“I invest in my body to be somebody, pray to Allah that it works/We pay for videos, we pay for studio, blowing our savings, oh it hurts/No record labels, we are the label/A bunch of workhorses we no get stable,” M.anifest opines in his delivery.

A fast-rising Hausa act, Ayat is author of several popular joints as YAUWA, I Don’t Know You, Play for Keeps, as well as the much-anticipated ZAMANI EP.
