Here’s “Kasahari”, the latest submission by rap veteran Obrafour. Produced by JMJ of Xtra Large Music, the piece is widely seen to contain shots to contemporary acts, who seemingly are underwhelming, per the Rap Sofuo’s standards.
The ferocious tune comes off the heels of the release of another single: No Size, which sees the “Rap Sofuo”, privately known as Michael Elliot Kwabena Okyere Darko, celebrate true love on the JMJ- produced joint.
Obrafour remains among the most important voices in Ghanaian music. Pae Mu Ka, his 1999 debut is still considered the best album in the evolution of the genre.
He is set to announce his new album Obrafoforo. The CD follows other masterpieces as Ntetee Pa, Asem Sebe, Tofa (Time out for Adhession), Pae Mu Ka, Execution Diary, Asem Beba Dabi, and Heavy.
