Afrobeats powerhouse Eboo is one of three headline acts for Kasapa FM’s much-anticipated Street Jam tonight in commemoration of the annual Odwira Festival.

Slated for Aban Anim (the forecourt of the chief’s palace), the carnival with see the Empire act thrill the thousands of patterns expected tonight. Other billed performers on the night include Bronya duo Wutah, as well as “madman” Kwaw Kese.

Part of a 4- day ceremony which kicked off on Friday October 5, the concert follows a grand durbar, health screening, as well as health walk within the Akropong township.

Celebrated by people of Akropong-Akuapim, Aburi, Larteh and Mamfi in the Eastern Region, the Odwira festival marks a historic 1826 victory by peoples of the Eastern region over the Ashantis.
