The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture has outdoored its Tourism Ambassadors in Tamale on World tourism Day, 27th September, 2017.
Sector minister, Honorable Catherine Afeku and her deputy, Dr Ziblim Barri Iddi presented to ambassadors a smock each.
The significance is to show the world that these ambassadors Wear Ghana everywhere they are and is a gesture to also remind them of their responsibility to continuously make Ghana proud.
A total of 50 icons have been selected including Stephen Appiah, Daddy Lumba, Sarkodie, Fuse ODG, Dada KD, Nana Kwame Ampadu and others.
The unveiling of these personalities follows the launch of the “See Ghana, Eat Ghana, Wear Ghana and Feel Ghana” campaign a few months ago, to promote tourism, arts and culture for national development.
