Ghanaian act Emmanuel Okassah (known in showbiz as Tricky) looks to shake up Ghana music with his style.

A talented rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, actor, photographer, model, and entrepreneur, Tricky started doing professional music in 2006 where he was a part of a group called DDT. He left the group and started his solo career in 2016 and released his first single “K3 Shorl3” which enjoyed massive airplay across the country, helping him gain  recognition as one of the most promising artist to emerge in the Ghanaian music industry.

Born in July 1990, Tricky discovered his love for music at a very young age when he was made lead singer of his junior high school acapela group at Santa George International School in Santa Maria near Sowutuom, Accra. He then continued to Armed Forces Secondary Technical School in Burma Camp, Accra, where he started recording music professionally.

Tricky has performed on almost all the major stages in Ghana including the National theater and the Accra International Conference Center. His style of music,hip pop mixed with hip life and hilife makes him stand out from the lot. In 2017 he started his own record label TrickStar Music which he is signed to currently. His latest single “Over You” is set to be the one of the biggest songs to hit the industry in recent years it has received great reviews from music lovers and critics across the country. Tricky is set to release his first major Album “Germination” in 2018.
