Sarkodie returned to the West Hills Mall yesterday September 10 to sign copies of his recently- released “Highest” album. The gesture, which is gradually becoming customary of his album releases, first happened with the release of Mary (SarkCess, 2015).
The event attracted thousands of fans, who were also treated to performances by the artist. Among industry friends who graced the occasion were DKB, Doctor Duncan, Dr. Pounds, Magnom, Medikal, StrongMan, B4Bonah, Foster Romanus, Wisa, Article Wan and many others.
The record follows Makye (2009), Rapperholic (2012), Sarkology (2014), and Mary (2015). Consisting 18 songs, it features collaborations with both local and international heavyweights as Big Narstie, Victoria Kimani (Kenya), Moelogo (UK), Spoken Word act Suli Breaks (UK), Korede Bello (Nigeria), Praiz (Nigeria), Yung L (Nigeria), Jesse Jagz (Nigeria), Flavour (Nigeria) and Bobii Lewis (UK).
