Held on Friday August 25 at the Building 6, O2, the much -anticipated Ghana Meets Naija -UK concert settles majestically among historic African concerts to hit the UK in remembered history.
Parading an elite list of entertainers including Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Kwamz & Flava, Eugy, and a number of UK acts as supporting acts, the concert brought together several thousands in rapturous ecstasy.
The concert has, for seven years, proven to be the most influential show on the West African sub-region, and among the foremost concerts in Africa. The UK -leg, because of its massive success, is yet another major feather in the cap of organisers Empire –headed by Bola Ray.
A recently-held Ghana version saw the likes of Shatta Wale, Davido, Tiwa Savage, Falz, and M.anifest all take to the stage to render outstanding performances. Supporting performances for last Saturday’s event included Tema-based B4bonah, Article Wan, Kuami Eugene, Ko-jo Cue, King Promise, Tee Phlow, DJ Switch, and Kwadwo Nkansah “Lil Win”.
The maiden Ghana Meets Naija UK event was powered by Empire Ghana.
