Eclectic Ghanaian singer Wiyaala releases new material on Friday, July 28. She made this announcement via social media, also revealing that her members of her family were involved in the making of the song.

“Mum & sister on backing vox. Dad helped with Lyrics. It’s a family affair”, she tweeted this morning. Accompanying visuals are expected on the same day.

Born Noella Wiyaala, the Leno singer performs in her native Sissala and Waale dialects, as well as English. She shot to national prominence as member of Ghanaian band Black N Peach (winners of Vodafone ICONS 2012). She has since gone solo and become a global performer. She’s currently brand ambassador for PepsiCo in West Africa, as well as Converse All Stars  for Ghana since 2014.
