Sarkodie is set to release his fifth studio album after Makye (2009), Rapperholic (2012), Sarkology (2014), Mary (2015), as well as the joint album TMG with producer Jayso in 2013. Titled The Highest, it is expected sometime this year.

He’s also lining up a series of dates in his honour of the album. He is set to make a grand return to Europe and the US  (where he filled up the Apollo Theatre in a historic night). Destinations for the Europe leg include Norway, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, France, Holland, Italy, France, and Spain. Details regarding the US destinations are also expected soon.

Sarkodie is CEO of his independent imprint  SarkCess Music, which is also home to singer Akwaboah, and fellow rap act Strongman.
