Fast-rising Ghanaian creative Worlasi is among the country’s representatives for this year’s edition of  the Coke Studio Africa series currently ongoing in Nairobi – Kenya.

The show, which is known for bringing the topmost acts on the continent to create both mash-ups and original tracks will see the Nukata singer team up with Nigerian vocal powerhouse Chidinma. Chidinma, alumnus of MTN Project Fame West Africa, and label mates with Flavour, is recipient of multiple awards and  author of many hit songs including Emini Baller and Fall in Love.

The pairing is widely anticipated as it does two of the continent’s most powerful young voices merge influences and creative approaches.

Worlasi is author of two mixtapes: NUSE and UNCUT.  He has been associated with some of the country’s most influential acts,  and gotten rave reviews on such platforms as MTV and BBC.

Joey B, Bisa KDei,  and producers Killbeatz and  Masta Garzy constitute the rest of Ghana’s contingent in the house. This year,  the hosts American R&B star Jason Derulo as special guest.
