The entire nation is shaken by circumstances surrounding the death of Captain Maxwell Mahama, who  met his untimely death on the morning of Monday, May 29.

Leading a troop to provide security at Denkyira-Obuasi (Central Region), he was brutally murdered by a mob of residents who allegedly mistook him for an armed robber.

Tributes have poured in from far and wide for Captain Mahama, including from President Nana Addo, Ex-president John Mahama, and dancehall singer Shatta Wale (who has released a tribute song for the late army officer).

Titled Maxwell Adam Mahama [Justice For Mahama], a broken Shatta Wale laments the incident, wondering how the heart of man can be so desperately wicked.
