As part of activities to advance his ‘Grow Ghana , Eat Ghana’ initiative, Ghanaian rapper/ radio man Trigmatic has resumed operations on his 4 acre rice farm situated at Ahwire Nkwanta in the Western Region of Ghana.
Speaking on the project to Accra-based Y FM, the Motromodwo act she more light on the overall motive for the project, as well as the progress of affairs:
“In order to show seriousness and commitment, I started a rice farm last year with the aim of encouraging young farmers and my followers to start looking in the area of agriculture. This will be my second year in farming and the target is to scale up our operations increase our yield this year”, he submitted.
Widely respected for his versatility and stagecraft, as well as his abilities as an on-air personality, Trigmatic has been active since 2007, and has published Stains on a Cloth (mixtape), Permanent Stains, and SOUL-u-TIONS. He’s also recipient of several laurels including VGMA Best Rapper of the Year (2011) and Record of the Year (2014), Best Dancehall Song of the Year (BASS Awards 2014), Best Special Effect Video (4Syte Music Video awards, 2013), Best Practice Dubai Award, among others.
