This year’s edition of the Miss Universe Ghana pageant officially launches this Thursday June 1, organisers have announced.
Now headed by Menaye Donkor, the event (which has held since 1991) looks to serve as a platform to provide “tools which help women to be their personal best.”
Over a thousand girls enter the prestigious contest every year, and Ghana’s winner gets to participate in the global version alongside compatriots from other parts of the world.
* Following the press launch event, Miss Universe Ghana Organization will begin accepting applications towards the competition which will take place on 2nd September in Accra.
