Ghanaian hiphop star Sarkodie was one of top performers from the continent to rock the just-ended One Africa Music Fest in London.

Put together by Upfront and Personal Global Management Consultants (UPGMC), it saw a gathering of some of the biggest music ambassadors from these parts:  Davido, Tekno, Jidenna, P-Square, Tiwa Savage, Olamide, Cassper Nyovest, Alikiba, Flavour N’abania, Phyno, M.I, Efya, 9ice, Awilo Longomba, Falz, Victoria Kimani, and UK band The Compozers.

Sarkodie’s performance was widely rated as one of the best performers on the night.

Last year, the US leg filled up the famous Barclays Centre and Houston’s Toyota Centre as the likes of Wizkid, Stonebwoy, D’banj, Jidenna, Flavour, Seun Kuti, Banky W among others all made a strong case for talent from the continent.
