EIB Network boss Nathan Anokye-Adisi ( more commonly known as Bola Ray) is the latest recipient of National Philanthropy Forum-Ghana (NPF-G)’s “Individual Philanthropist of the Year” award.
The award was presented to him at EIB’s Platinum Place premises in Accra by a delegation led by NPF-G president, Dr. Ben Ocra in recognition of Bola Ray’s “proven record of exceptional generosity and charitable endeavours”.
One of six recipients for the award, Bola Ray expressed his gratitude for the recognition.
The National Philanthropy Forum-Ghana aims to “foster collaboration opportunities amongst national, regional and international networks towards advancing the third sector (non-profit sector)”, and eligible nominees for the laurel include individuals, families, foundations or organizations that have been diligent to humanitarian ventures.
Previous winners of the prestigious honour include MTN Ghana Foundation, Newmont Ahafo Development Foundation (NaDef), Professor Oheneba Boachie-Adjei – founder of FOCOS medical centre, Rev. Fr. Campbell and Dr. Osei-Kusi – Founder of Osei-Kusi Foundation.
The public can send in names for consideration in 2018.
Bola Ray heads EIB Network (Ghana’s biggest media establishment today –owners of Starr FM, Live FM, Abusua FM, Empire FM, GH One TV, the Heritage Newspaper, and a host of others). He’s also CEO of the Empire, organisers of the annual Ghana Meets Naija concert.
