Ghanaian-based Nigerian singer and song writer Focus was born Adewale Banjo in Ilupeju – Lagos.  He speaks Yoruba and English, and attended both primary and secondary school in Oke-Ira, Lagos,

Focus proceeded to Moshood Abiola polytechnic Ogun – state, where he studied accounting for his (OND) Ordinary National Diploma.

He started  music whiles in secondary school, moving with a group called Sunsets, before they split off then he became a solo artiste . He has been working hard on several projects
and has featured a lot of artiste on his singleswhich include popular Ghanaian raggae Dancehall artiste Rashid Metal.

Some of his songs are Hammer Hammer ft Vjay produced by Jah pinto, Moni Moni ft Rasty produce by rickyz.

Focus is a versatile musician and names Olamide as his inspiration.
