Dancehall singer Shatta Wale snatches the Number 1 spot from rapper and close ally Sarkodie (who’s Painkiller makes a significant dip to 5th position as a result) in this week’s episode of #ENEWSGHTop1o. The tune which catapults him to this feat is the widespread Take Over, which also features comrades Joint 77, Addi Self, and Captan.

Last week, Take Over ranked No. 8, which is why this week’s place signifies a meteoric rise. Fellow dancehall act Stonebwoy’s Come From Far makes a bold entry at No. 4. Ebony Reigns, R2Bees, Kofi Kinaata all maintain their presence in the rankings, which are compiled by esteemed  contemporary radio jockey  Quarps Hansen of Y FM (Accra).
