Led with her hit singles Daavi and Rewind, the album follows her previous well-received Re-Vee-Lation (2014), and Verified (2015). Author of several popular tunes as Natural Girl, Bokor Bokor, Abofra, and Hold Me Now, the 24 year old was up for the topmost prize at the recently-held Ghana Music Awards. She has been associated with Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Richie Mensah, Efya, Didier Awadi, Pappy Kojo, MI Abaga etc. MzVee is a two-time BET honouree, and is recipient of several other laurels including VGMA awards for Unsung Artiste of the Year (2014), Best New Artiste Of The Year (2015), Best Female Vocalist of the Year (2016), GMH Best Female Artist Honour (2016) and a host of others. Via Twitter Saturday January 20, the SarkCess CEO assured his home crowd of a free show: “It’s a must I do a free show in TEMA”, he posted. This comes as welcome news to his ever-growing fanbase as well as pundits who have constantly held that a show thus, by the BET laureate is long overdue. When the show finally materialises, it will follow similar gestures by the likes of VVIP and Stonebwoy, who hold perennial free shows to honour the loyalty shown them by neighbourhoods that have served as their springboard over the years (Nima and Ashaiman respectively).
